100 Great Years

This year marks an incredible milestone for Industrial Bag, as we are celebrating our 100th anniversary. In that time, our success has grown from us serving and exceeding our customers’ expectations for their commercial laundry needs.
As a Veteran-owned business, we are proud industrial laundry bag suppliers for both the United States Army and Navy.

We are also proud of our company’s history. It began with our founder, Louis Siderman. After escaping Russia in the early 1900’s, he started the company in downtown Detroit, MI. The business resided there for more than 75 years. Louis’ patriotism led him to serve in World War II. During his service, he fabricated numerous bags for the American government. Siderman was so pleased of his contributions to the war effort that even when Uncle Sam tried to pay him, he sent the check back.

Though the company has grown tremendously since then, it has kept its focus on being an American-made company, staying in the Borin family for three generations. Morris Borin ran the company for 50 years. His son, Kenny Borin, took a seat at the helm 34 years ago, and is Industrial Bag’s current owner and president.

Our longevity in this business is due to two main objectives. One is the commitment to building 100% American-made products since day one. The second, which begins with this, is exceeding customer expectations.
We have many people to thank. The first and foremost God, who guides us each and every day. Everyone has the ability to be charitable, and he reminds us to do this as much as possible.

To all of our employees over the past 100 years, thank you for being such an integral part of our team success.
To all of our past, current, and future customers, thank you for your patronage. We’re privileged to be your industrial laundry resource supplier, and look forward to exceeding your expectations for another 100 years.
